The second chapter: the first section of neonatal diseases common signs and symptoms: fever: newborn infants (especially premature) body temperature regulation function is poor, the central temperature regulation immature heat production and heat dissipation, easy to lose balance, so the temperature fluctuates easily. When the environment temperature changes than body regulation ability, it will cause neonatal fever or hypothermia. Fever is a symptom of the common neonatal period, normal neonatal rectal temperature at 36.2 ~ 37.8 ℃, armpit temperature is rectal temperature slightly lower, at 36 ~ 37 ℃, when the temperature exceeds this range, which is called fever. Newborn on heat tolerance is, when the temperature over 40 ℃ and lasting a long time, not only can cause convulsions, may cause permanent brain damage, left the sequelae of nervous system. [] 1 common causes and differential diagnosis of non infective fever (1) sterile tissue destruction or necrosis: such as leukemia, endovascular embolization, burns, fractures, hematoma, abdominal or thoracic blood absorption. Neonatal also easily in the hot environment of fever. (2) a lot of blood or fluid loss: the effective circulation blood volume reduction due to heat barrier, and increased body temperature. But if there is stagnation of circulatory failure, normal metabolism, and heat production is too small, but the temperature does not rise. (3) heat production, heat anomaly: such as seizures and status epilepticus induced thermogenesis too much, because of the extensive ichthyosis, widespread dermatitis, no sweat gland disease or the bag cover is too strict, too thick induced heat barrier. (4) biological agents or drug reaction: such as serum, vaccine, foreign protein or certain drugs (such as sulfonamides, barbiturate allergy etc.). (5) the central regulation disorders: such as some functional low fever and body temperature central dysregulation, summer indoor temperature is too high, the relative lack of sweat glands, the development of newborn poor heat dissipation, easy cause fever. (6) the other causes of fever in children: such as thermal dehydration of high incidence rate, in 4 ~ 5 days after birth, mainly milk and water feed is not enough, plus from the respiratory tract, skin, urine lost quite a lot of moisture, so that children with severe water shortage. The temperature can be as high as 39 ~ 40 ℃, children will appear cry or drowsiness, anterior fontanelle depression, poor skin elasticity, dry oral mucosa, decreased urine output and other mild dehydration, mostly after hours of gradually cooling, or within 1 days of several heating, but few tens of days of continuous heating. In addition such as children with nuclear jaundice (jaundice caused by overweight encephalopathy), intracranial hemorrhage (birth) sequela can cause fever. Other possible causes of fever of the newborn are: when phototherapy heat input too much, birth asphyxia of thermoregulatory function, as well as the child's crying, warm temperature is too high or too many clothes, especially in summer indoor temperature to 30 ℃. Neonatal period, the environment temperature, the first is the skin blood vessels to dilate, blood flow rate, radiation and convection, promote the body heat.

Starting from the common symptoms of pediatric disease, make a diagnosis rapidly, namely outpatient primary treatment, and then further condition analysis andTreatment of pediatric diseases, consistent with clinical medical practice thinking process, introduces the new ideas, new technology, new therapy in pediatric field. Book for young physicians treating various diseases in clinic and ward inspection process provides a very good reference.
